Miroku was a monk who traveled with Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, and Sango. He lies, he steals and he's very womanizing. His grandfather Miyatsu was cursed fifty years ago by Naraku when he turned himself into a beautiful woman and cut his hand making a curse, leading to the creation of the wind tunnel, which was destined to be passed down to all of his male descendants. Every time he sees a beautful woman he asks them if they "Would bear my child." The reason he does this though is in case he dies, his son may continue the hunt for Naraku.
