He accidentally dials the Goddess hot-line and Belldandy appears. She is there to grant him one wish and he jokingly says for her to stay with him forever. They end up living in a Buddhist temple and Belldandy's sisters, Urd and Skuld, move in as well. Along the way they encounter many gods, demons, other Goddesses, and other supernatural creatures.
